About the event
Join instructor Julie Silvia for donation yoga in honor of Earth Day. In this class we will stimulate the spine, creating better circulation. Following the movement, we will deeply relax with some supported sound, and you will be guided in meditation. Suitable for beginners.
What to Bring
Wear loose clothing and dress in layers as your body temperature may change as you rest in meditation and relaxation. Bring any props, including a mat, blanket, or whatever you need to feel comfortable. The studio has mats, chairs and some props for you to use.
About Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga is an incredible self healing technology that combines breath control (pranayam), movement (Asana), meditation with silent or chanted mantra, and relaxation. Practicing regularly builds physical strength, mental agility, and deepens the incredible well within us all. Known for its transformative benefits, Kundalini yoga is an ancient form of yoga for every body. With its impactful prescriptive structure, it offers a path for busy “householders”, who may not have the time to practice for hours each day due to having jobs, families to raise or otherwise just busy lives. Many sets can be adapted to be done in a chair. Many postures and breathwork sessions have enough power to transform your mood in as little as just 1 minute.
About The Current
